The LaPorte County Drug Free Partnership, formed in 1989, is one of 92 county coalitions under the structure of the Governor’s Commission for a Drug Free Indiana. Designated as the Local Coordinating Council under the authority by law of the Commission, members include concerned citizens and representatives from any businesses or organizations interested in helping to solve problems caused by substance abuse / addiction in LaPorte County.  View our Partner list.

The Drug Free Partnership is celebrating landing a federal Drug Free Communities (DFC) grant to help us tackle prevention and reduction in the areas of youth alcohol, binge drinking, and prescription drug diversion....

OUR YOUTH ARE IMPORTANT!

Middle and high school youth from across the county are brought together under the guidance of a Youth Advisor. They plan and develop their own initiatives to address substance use/abuse by their peers within their own school populations, backed by and financially supported by the Partnership.
